Satelliet Meubelen has strong values when it comes to social and environmental responsibility and wherever possible we require the same standards from our suppliers.
- The company’s restaurant in Breda is operated by The Colour Kitchen at Work. This program, along with intensive support, helps people out of the workforce find a valuable position in society.
- The Satelliet Design Challenge stimulates young designers to create an innovative hospitality concept. The best design is shown during Venuez Hospitality & Style Event and later on in our showroom in Breda. We also offer students internships.
- Satelliet Meubelen works on a concept of taking back furniture that has had its best years. This enables us to make sure the furniture is disposed of in the right way and where possible recycled.
- Satelliet Meubelen works with Resysta, also called ‘the future wood’. Resysta is made of rice husks, rock salt and mineral oils. However it looks like wood and has the same characteristics.
- Satelliet Meubelen recognizes sustainably produced furniture and gives this high priority with the determination of the collection.
